At IFA we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of the information you provide to us.  We want your use of the IFA website and the services we offer to be productive and safe.  Our Privacy Policy illustrates our commitment to your privacy and security.

Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from various sources, including:

  • Interviews regarding your insurance, tax, or financial needs
  • Applications, organizers, or other documents that supply such information as your name, address, telephone number, Social Security Number, number of dependents, income, and other tax-related, insurance-related, or financial-related data
  • Tax-related documents you provide (such as Forms W-2, 1099-R, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B, etc.), insurance-related documents you provide (such as health, disability, long-term care, or life insurance policies or insurance service forms, etc.)  or financial-related documents you provide (such as broker statements, bank or credit union statements, stock certificates, etc.) that are required for preparing tax returns (such as Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990, etc.), submitting insurance applications or service forms, or providing financial analysis and qualified retirement plan analysis and recommendations (such as IRA, 401(k), 403(b), SIMPLE IRA Plans, SEP Plans, SARSEP Plans, etc.).

How Do We Protect Your Information?

IFA has created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. To ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security, it is our goal to clarify our policy on the collection and use of your personal information. We will not give, sell or use your personal information to any outside company for its use in marketing or solicitation. We will maintain its confidentiality and it will be used only to support your customer relationship with IFA.

If we collect sensitive information (such as your Social Security Number), we will encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

If we share your information with our service providers, we require all service providers to have written contracts with us that require them to safeguard your information and prohibit them from selling, retaining, using, or disclosing your information for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the contract.

Due to the nature of our procedural safeguards, if you request the return of any documents that you have given us for any reason, we will return them to you within 24 hours of the request.
